County music stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood said they will play a concert in December to benefit flood relief in middle Tennessee. Brooks said making the decision was easy: "I think we decided to do it the day we saw the flood." He formally retired about a decade ago to spend more time with his children and Yearwood. But he began performing at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas last December, and expects to do 15 weeks of shows a year at least until his youngest daughter graduates from high school.

Garth Brooks Nashville Tickets: Five Additional Dates Added Due To Demand

Garth Brooks Nashville tickets for his charity performance at Bridgestone Arena on December 17 went so fast after it was announced earlier this week that five additional dates have been added.

Benefiting the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, additional dates have been added on December 16, 19, 20, 21 and 22. Tickets are on sale at ticketmaster.com. One reason the demand is so great is that it is Brooks’ first concert performance since he announced his retirement from performing 12 years ago.

Demand was so great that more than 100,000 tickets sold within the first hour after tickets went on sale Saturday.
